Steve Weestrand, Owner of Avenue Homes, LLC, is a third generation business owner in the construction industry. Growing up as a carpenter, Steve injured his back in a construction accident and was forced into a desk job. After 11 years in remodeling sales and project management, Steve's dream of opening his company became a reality. Steve resides in Apple Valley with his wife, four children and one crazy bird dog.

Steve grew up in the shadow of his father (Randy, Great West Homes, Inc.) and late grandfather (Ken, Quality Homes, Inc.), both builder/developers, learning all he could about the industry with plans of following in their footsteps.
Ken still owned Quality Homes, Inc. and Rochester Mortgage, Inc. He also sat as the President of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities and pioneered development tactics used today.
Randy learned of Radon in the 1980's and opened Radon Removal Inc. Steve worked for his father off and on for a few summers while in school as he learned the Radon industry. Randy eventually quit building homes and focused on Radon mitigation full time. He is now the prominent mitigation specialist in Minnesota.
